Pushchair Reviews

We’ve been reviewing pushchairs honestly since 2006. Not manufacturer specs rewritten — real advice from real use, tested in UK conditions that matter: narrow doorways, bus aisles, car boots, park paths, and canal towpaths.

How we test

Every review says exactly how the pushchair was assessed — shop tests with Janette, long-term daily use by our daughter K, and real owners we’ve met out and about, from Beadnell to Roundhay Park to Casey’s Corner at Disneyland Paris. Scores are ours, never supplied by the brands, and we never pretend to have tested a pushchair we haven’t.

Joolz Aer2 lightweight compact pushchair

Joolz Aer2 vs Bugaboo Butterfly 2

Joolz Aer2 vs Bugaboo Butterfly 2 — both have genuine one-second one-handed folds. The real decision is newborn convenience and Bugaboo familiarity versus 800g less weight and a 10-year transferable warranty. Tested hands-on. Honest verdict.

Joolz Hub2 compact urban pushchair

Joolz Hub2 vs Bugaboo Dragonfly

Joolz Hub2 vs Bugaboo Dragonfly — £670 vs £945. The Dragonfly is the better pushchair overall. But the Hub2 folds to a standalone unit with a carry strap. Does that matter to you? Honest verdict.

Joie Finiti Signature 4-in-1 pushchair

Joie Finiti vs Silver Cross Reef 2

Joie Finiti vs Silver Cross Reef 2 — £350 versus £1,000. The Finiti punches well above its price. But does the Reef 2’s heritage and 5-year warranty justify the £650 gap? Honest verdict.

iCandy Peach 8 premium convertible pushchair

iCandy Peach 8 vs Bugaboo Fox 5

iCandy Peach 8 vs Bugaboo Fox 5 — both score 8.5/10 but for completely different reasons. Fabric and safety credentials vs terrain and resale. Honest verdict.

Mamas and Papas Airo lightweight stroller

Mamas & Papas Airo vs Silver Cross Clic 2

Mamas & Papas Airo vs Silver Cross Clic 2 — £189 versus £295, and one is cabin approved and one isn’t. The cabin question is the whole decision. Honest verdict.

Silver Cross Clic 2 lightweight travel pushchair

Silver Cross Clic 2 vs Stokke YOYO³

If you want to get around town without overspending, the Clic 2 does the job. If you want one of the most refined compacts available, that’s the YOYO³. The secondhand market changes the calculation.

Silver Cross Reef 2 all-terrain pushchair

Silver Cross Reef 2 vs Bugaboo Fox 5

We compare the Silver Cross Reef 2 and Bugaboo Fox 5 from hands-on assessments. The Fox 5 scores higher overall — but at a comparable price, the Reef 2 includes its carrycot and has directly tested outdoor credentials. Here’s where each one wins.

Joolz Aer2 lightweight compact pushchair

Joolz Pushchairs

Three very different pushchairs. One for travel, one for city commuting, one for outdoor families. Honest reviews of the full Joolz range.

Joolz Geo 3 all-terrain pushchair

Joolz Geo 3 Review

The Geo 3 was made for Roundhay Park. Large wheels, great suspension, outstanding storage. The question is whether your life matches the terrain it’s designed for.

Joolz Hub2 compact urban pushchair

Joolz Hub2 Review

The Hub2 is a commuter’s pushchair. Brilliant for smooth pavements, shops and public transport. But stiff suspension and a smaller seat make the price hard to justify against the Dragonfly.

iCandy Pip ultra-compact cabin-approved pushchair

iCandy Pip vs Stokke YOYO³

Two premium compact pushchairs with one defining differentiator — handlebar height. Both tested. Honest verdict from real owner feedback.
