UPPAbaby is an American brand that arrived in the UK market and quickly built a devoted following among parents who wanted something different from the European premium brands. They’ve earned that following honestly — their pushchairs are genuinely well made, thoughtfully designed, and built to last.
I’ll be straight with you about UPPAbaby: they’re not the cheapest option at any level of the market, and a few of their models are heavier than you might expect. But the build quality is consistently excellent, and the Vista in particular has become one of the most trusted pushchairs among parents who’ve done serious research. There’s a reason you see so many of them on the streets of every major UK city.
The thing I always say about UPPAbaby is that they think carefully about the long game. Most of their pushchairs are designed to grow with your family — converting from single to double, adapting for different ages, working with a range of car seats. If you’re thinking ahead rather than just buying for right now, that matters.
The current UPPAbaby range
UPPAbaby Vista V2 — the flagship
The Vista V2 is UPPAbaby’s top-of-the-range pushchair and one of the most versatile on the market. It starts as a single and converts to a double — either tandem or with a piggyback board — making it a genuinely sensible buy if you’re planning more than one child. The build quality is excellent throughout, and it sits your child noticeably higher than most pushchairs, which keeps them away from exhaust fumes and makes interaction easier.
Honest caveat: it’s not light, and the double configuration adds considerable bulk. If you’re regularly on public transport or wrestling it into a small car, factor that in.

UPPAbaby Cruz V3 — urban all-rounder
The Cruz V3 is the newer, more urban-focused sibling to the Vista. It’s lighter and more manoeuvrable, with UPPAbaby’s FlexRide suspension and a one-hand fold. The V3 update added an infant insert as standard so it’s suitable from birth to 22kg without needing additional accessories — a genuine improvement over earlier versions.
If the Vista feels like more pushchair than you need and you’re mostly on pavements and city streets, the Cruz V3 is worth a serious look.

UPPAbaby Minu V3 — compact and travel-friendly
The Minu V3 is UPPAbaby’s compact option — smaller fold, lighter weight, easier to manage in tight spaces. It doesn’t sacrifice the brand’s build quality to achieve this, which sets it apart from cheaper compact strollers. The basket is generous for its class and the overall feel is still unmistakably UPPAbaby.
If you’re a frequent traveller or need a manageable second pushchair, the Minu V3 deserves consideration.

UPPAbaby Ridge — off-road specialist
The Ridge is UPPAbaby’s all-terrain three-wheeler, built for parents who regularly tackle woodland paths, coastal walks, or rough ground. It has serious suspension, a comfortable padded seat, and generous storage. If you live rurally or do a lot of off-road walking, it’s one of the better options at this end of the market.
UPPAbaby G-Link 2 — the double
The G-Link 2 is UPPAbaby’s side-by-side double stroller. Lightweight and compact for a double, easy fold, suitable from around six months. If you have two children of similar age who are past the newborn stage, it’s a practical choice that doesn’t feel like you’re pushing a bus.
Who UPPAbaby is right for
UPPAbaby suits parents who want premium quality and are willing to pay for it, but who also want a pushchair that thinks ahead. The Vista V2 in particular is an excellent choice for anyone planning more than one child — the single-to-double versatility is genuinely useful rather than a marketing afterthought.
They’re also a strong choice for taller parents. The seat height on the Vista and Cruz is noticeably higher than most competitors, which makes a real difference to both comfort and interaction with your child.
Where UPPAbaby is less ideal: if you’re regularly on public transport, navigating narrow spaces, or need to keep weight to a minimum, some of their models will feel heavy and bulky. The Minu V3 addresses this, but it’s a different kind of pushchair to the Vista.
