How to spot a genuine Black Friday pushchair deal
Pushchair Black Friday deals are sometimes genuine and sometimes not. Here’s what to check before you buy.
✓ Signs of a genuine deal
- Compare the Black Friday price with the product’s normal selling price over the preceding weeks and months — not simply the retailer’s displayed ‘was’ price
- Multiple retailers are showing similar prices simultaneously
- The discount is on the pushchair itself, not only accessories bundled with it
- The retailer has a solid returns policy if something goes wrong
- The deal applies to a current-season model, not a colourway being cleared
✗ Watch out for
- A high ‘was’ price can make a discount appear larger than the saving against the product’s usual selling price
- Bundle “savings” that include accessories you wouldn’t have bought anyway
- Last-season colourways being cleared rather than current models discounted
- Unknown retailers with no track record on baby products
- Urgency tactics — genuine deals don’t need a 2-hour countdown timer
Our honest advice on timing
If you need a pushchair before November, buy the right model now. A pushchair you need in September isn’t worth delaying for a Black Friday deal that might not materialise — and the right pushchair for your life is more important than a discount on the wrong one.
Some models hold their price more consistently than others, so don’t delay an essential purchase purely in the hope of a large Black Friday discount. We’ll track actual 2026 offers here rather than assume a particular model will be reduced.
If your baby is due in January or February 2027 and you’ve already decided what you want, Black Friday is worth watching — particularly for Mamas & Papas and iCandy bundle deals where savings in 2025 were substantial and verifiable.
