Our verdict in one sentence
A premium lightweight that’s well built, with excellent storage and an easy one-handed fold — you probably won’t regret buying the Minu, but you could do a bit better, and the Stokke YOYO³ is where I’d spend my money.
Quick answer: The Minu V3 is decent, but it doesn’t stand out. It’s suitable from birth, it has a tall seat back so taller kids won’t outgrow it too soon, and the storage is excellent — there’s even a hidden AirTag pocket. It’s not the lightest in its class, though, and at this premium price point you’re comparing it with the Stokke YOYO³, Bugaboo Butterfly 2 and Joolz Aer2. The YOYO³ would be where I’d spend my money.
At a glance
UPPAbaby Minu V3 — how it compares

I came across the UPPAbaby Minu V3 while having lunch at Zizzi in The Light, Leeds. The owners were happy to let me get hands-on, and I folded it, pushed it, bounced it, examined the fabrics and more. It was fairly quick, and a bit limited time-wise, obviously — but I feel I got a good handle of it.
The Minu V3 is UPPAbaby’s compact travel pushchair: a premium lightweight that’s well built, with excellent storage. It’s decent, but it doesn’t stand out. It’s not the lightest in its class, but it does feature an easy one-hand fold, premium materials and all-wheel suspension, and it generally comes in a touch cheaper than its main rivals.
Why trust this review?
Tested by: Mark, hands-on with a family’s own Minu V3 at Zizzi in The Light, Leeds. I folded and unfolded it, pushed it, bounced it and examined the fabrics, and talked to the owners about how it suits them day to day.
Evidence basis: Hands-on test plus owner feedback. Specifications verified against uppababy.co.uk and UK retailer listings, October 2026.
Conflict of interest: This review contains affiliate links. This does not affect the verdict — and we recommend a pushchair from a different brand ahead of it.

| Category | Score |
|---|---|
| Build quality | 9/10 (well built, premium materials and fabrics) |
| Seat & comfort | 8/10 (from birth with the padded insert, tall seat back, deep recline) |
| Push & handling | 7/10 (all-wheel suspension, but small travel wheels) |
| Fold | 8/10 (easy one-handed forward fold, stands when folded, built-in carry strap) |
| Weight & size | 6/10 (compact, but 7.6kg is not the lightest in its class) |
| Value | 7/10 (around £400, with excellent storage — a touch cheaper than its main rivals) |
| Overall | 7/10 |
Overall score: 7/10. The Minu V3 is well built, easy to fold and has excellent storage. It loses marks on weight — it’s not the lightest in its class — and because, at this premium price point, its rivals do more. It sits behind the Stokke YOYO³ (9.5/10), Bugaboo Butterfly 2 (8.5/10) and Joolz Aer2 (8/10).
The hands-on — fold, push and fabrics
It’s a premium lightweight and it feels it — well built, with premium fabrics. It has an easy one-handed fold which collapses it forward, it stands up on its own once folded, and a shoulder carry strap retracts automatically when you unfold it. Pushing and bouncing it, you can feel the all-wheel suspension working, though these are still small travel wheels — it’s designed for pavements, airports and city breaks rather than rough ground.
It’s suitable from birth, with a padded insert, and it has a tall seat back, so taller kids won’t outgrow it too soon.
Excellent storage — and a hidden AirTag pocket
The storage is excellent for a compact pushchair, and it even has a hidden AirTag pocket. That would be useful if you’re going to Disneyland Paris, for example — we know about pushchair thefts there, as I cover in our best pushchair for Disneyland Paris guide.
💬 What the owners said
The owners loved it — it met all their needs and requirements. They hadn’t had it too long, though, so there was still a newness to it, and issues and negatives often develop over time. Their Minu was still fairly new and looked in good condition. Their child was still a baby, under one I would guess.
Minu V3 vs YOYO³, Butterfly 2 and Aer2
At this premium price point, you’re comparing the Minu V3 with the Stokke YOYO³, the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 and the Joolz Aer2. The Minu generally comes in a touch cheaper, and it holds its own on build and storage — but it’s not the lightest of the group, and it doesn’t stand out. The YOYO³ would be where I’d spend my money.

💬 If this were my money…
From my conversation with the owners and my own hands-on, you probably won’t regret buying the Minu — but you could do a bit better. The Stokke YOYO³ would be where I’d spend my money.
Is the UPPAbaby Minu V3 right for you?
A good choice if:
- You want a premium, well-built compact pushchair from birth
- Storage matters — and you like the idea of an AirTag pocket for travel
- You want an easy one-handed fold
- You have a taller child, or want a tall seat back
Think carefully if:
- Every kilo counts — it’s not the lightest in its class
- You’re spending around £400 anyway — compare it with the YOYO³ first
- You walk on rougher ground — it’s a compact with small travel wheels
