Silver Cross began life just a few miles from where I started my own career in the travel industry. I worked round the corner from the Silver Cross factory in Guiseley in the early 1990s — drove past the back of it multiple times every day. Growing up in the area, Silver Cross wasn’t just a pushchair brand. It was part of the town’s identity.
For anyone of an older generation, Silver Cross still conjures the image of a coach-built pram — used by royalty, arguably the best-looking pram ever made. The styling has moved on enormously since those days. The brand’s commitment to quality hasn’t. Silver Cross is one of the few names in this market where the heritage is genuinely earned rather than invented by a marketing department. That’s the starting point for every review on this page.

Which Silver Cross is right for you?
If you walk on genuinely varied terrain — parks, countryside paths, uneven ground → the Reef 2. The flagship all-terrain model. Heavy at 13.2kg — be honest about whether the weight works for your daily routine.
If you want a capable mid-sized all-rounder for urban and suburban life → the Breez. Lighter than the Reef 2, more capable than the Clic 2. RideTech multi-terrain wheels handle light countryside and suburban paths. Note: the most compact fold requires the seat forward-facing.
If you want a well-built everyday stroller with Silver Cross heritage at a fair price → the Pop 2. The successor to the iconic original Pop — vastly improved, good value especially as a bundle. Honest on the weight and two-handed fold.
If you need something lightweight for urban daily use or travel → the Clic 2. Fast one-handed fold, 6.5kg. Check your specific airline’s dimensions before flying — it won’t meet every carrier’s requirements.
