In practice, the decision between them is simpler than most comparison articles make it sound — because the most important difference between them isn’t price, weight or fold. If your budget is under £600, the Cybex is the answer and the Dragonfly isn’t really in the conversation. The Eezy S Twist+2 at £449 is not a budget pushchair — you’re getting an excellent pushchair without sacrificing the feature that makes the Cybex unique, at less than half the Dragonfly’s price.

If you walk on rough ground or mixed terrain…
The Eezy S Twist+2 has genuine all-terrain wheels and four-wheel suspension — independent reviewers have taken it on countryside walks, farm paths and beaches. The Dragonfly is more city-focused: its front wheels showed their limits on kerbs during testing outside Casey’s Corner at Disneyland Paris. Good on pavements and smooth urban surfaces; less so once you step off them.

If premium build quality matters above everything else…
This is where the Dragonfly earns its price — for parents who value premium engineering and expect to keep a pushchair for several years, I think the Dragonfly justifies the higher cost. The Bugaboo materials, finish, and engineering feel are at a different level. It will hold its resale value better, and it’s the kind of pushchair that still feels premium after two years of daily use rather than just on day one.
The Cybex is well-made. It’s not at Bugaboo’s level of finish — that’s not a criticism, it’s a description of what £449 versus £945 buys you in this category.

If the most compact fold matters…
The Dragonfly has the edge here. It’s one of the better compact folds in the city pushchair category — one-handed, freestanding, and genuinely small. The Eezy S Twist+2 folds well for a pushchair of its complexity, but it’s not class-leading on folded size. If you’re fitting it into a small car boot, a tight hallway, or hoping it qualifies as cabin luggage, the Dragonfly is the stronger option.

💬 If this were my money…
If the rotating seat is the feature I actually wanted, I’d buy the Cybex without hesitation — it does it better than anything else in this category, at less than half the price. If I didn’t need the rotation and budget allowed, I’d buy the Dragonfly for the premium build. What I wouldn’t do is spend twice as much on the Dragonfly hoping it would somehow replicate what the Cybex does with its rotating seat. It won’t — that feature simply doesn’t exist on the Dragonfly at any price.
If we were standing in the shop together…
If somebody offered me both pushchairs at exactly the same price, I’d wheel the Dragonfly out of the shop. The Bugaboo build quality and finish are at a different level, and if price weren’t a factor that would be the end of it.
If somebody handed me £500 towards either, I’d buy the Eezy S Twist+2 — and I’d feel very good about that choice, especially if the rotating seat was the reason I was looking at this category in the first place.
If you told me you commute by train with a toddler and need a rotating seat, I’d point at the Cybex without hesitation. If you told me you want the nicest pushchair you’ll still love in three years and budget isn’t the issue, I’d point at the Dragonfly. Those two situations describe most of the parents who are choosing between these two pushchairs — and once you know which one describes you, the decision is made.
