Cybex was founded in Germany in 2005, and in the UK market they’ve been building a well-deserved reputation ever since. They won Which? Baby and Child Brand of the Year 2024 — the UK’s most trusted consumer endorsement — and it’s not hard to see why. The engineering is evident the moment you get your hands on one.

My honest assessment of Cybex after more than twenty years of covering the pushchair market: they are not the budget end, and they don’t pretend to be. But the range is genuinely broad — from an ultra-lightweight travel stroller at under 6kg to a modular growing-family pushchair with 20+ configurations, via a rotating-seat compact that’s currently one of the most-searched pushchairs on this site. There’s a Cybex for almost every situation. The question is which one is right for yours.

Our overall verdict on the Cybex range

Cybex makes some of the most intelligently engineered pushchairs available in the UK. The build quality is consistently high, the design is modern without being fussy, and the range covers every buyer type from ultra-lightweight traveller to growing family. The honest caveat: they’re not cheap, and some models are heavier than you might expect given how compact they look. This hub exists to help you choose the right one for your life.

Which Cybex is right for you?

If you want to switch between parent-facing and forward-facing without lifting your child out → the Cybex Eezy S Twist+2. The rotating seat mechanism is second-generation, properly engineered, and confirmed in real-world use. It’s the most-searched Cybex on this site for a reason.

If you have or are planning a second child and want genuine single-to-double flexibility → the Cybex Gazelle S. Over 20 configurations, outstanding storage, and a compact fold even with two seats attached. Read the full review for the honest weight caveat.

If minimum weight is your overriding priority — for travel, flying, or daily public transport → the Cybex Libelle. At 5.9kg it’s one of the lightest pushchairs on the market. Two-handed fold and small plastic wheels are the honest trade-offs.

The real trade-off in this range

Features vs weight

The more a Cybex does, the more it weighs. The Eezy S Twist+2’s rotating seat adds engineering that adds grams. The Gazelle S’s 20+ configurations add a frame that’s 12.9kg. The Libelle strips everything back to 5.9kg — and you feel both the lightness and the limitations.

Flexibility vs simplicity

The Gazelle S’s single-to-double capability is genuinely impressive. But if you only ever need a single pushchair, you’re paying for engineering you won’t use. Buy for your actual situation — the Eezy S Twist+2 or Libelle suit single-child families far better.

Price vs longevity

Cybex holds its value well secondhand. The build quality means older models continue to perform — a well-kept Cybex bought secondhand can represent excellent value. Factor this in if price is a constraint.

Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 pushchair with 360 degree rotating seat
✓ Fully Reviewed — July 2026

Cybex Eezy S Twist+2

Best for: Rotating seat flexibility, mixed terrain

Standout feature: 360° one-handed seat rotation — done with your child still seated

Tested in store and confirmed at Myrtle Park, Bingley. The rotating seat works exactly as described. Steers lighter than 8.6kg suggests — a genuine positive surprise.

Cybex Gazelle S modular pushchair
✓ Fully Reviewed — July 2026

Cybex Gazelle S

Best for: Growing families, single-to-double

Standout feature: 20+ configurations — converts from single to double without buying a second pushchair

Shop inspected with both seats attached. Outstanding storage, compact fold for a double — but at 12.9kg you won’t be lifting it with gazelle-like elegance. Honest verdict: for side-by-side seating, the Donkey 6 is the stronger choice.

Cybex Libelle ultra-lightweight travel pushchair
✓ Fully Reviewed — July 2026

Cybex Libelle

Best for: Travel, flying, ultra-lightweight priority

Standout feature: 5.9kg — one of the lightest pushchairs on the market

Shop road tested with my daughter K. Couldn’t be more different from the Gazelle S — ultra-lightweight, easy to control, surprisingly planted for its weight. Two-handed fold and plastic wheels are the honest trade-offs. Pipped by the YOYO³ overall, but a genuine contender.

Cybex Decision Guides

Not sure which pushchair is right for you? Our Decision Guides compare specific models head-to-head and help you choose in around three minutes.

Why parents choose Cybex

✓ Engineering innovation
Cybex consistently introduce features other brands copy — the one-pull harness, rotating seat mechanism, electric assist. They think carefully about how pushchairs actually work, not just how they look.

✓ Range breadth
From a £229 ultra-lightweight to a fully modular family system at £699.95 — Cybex covers the entire market with consistent quality standards. There’s a model for almost every buyer type.

✓ Which? recognised
Which? Baby and Child Brand of the Year 2024. The UK’s most trusted consumer endorsement — not a paid award, and not easy to win.

✓ Secondhand value
Cybex holds its value well. The build quality means older models continue to perform — a well-kept Cybex bought secondhand often represents better value than a new mid-range rival.

Our philosophy

There isn’t a single “best” Cybex pushchair. The right one depends entirely on your life — how many children you have or plan to have, whether you fly regularly, how much you lift a pushchair in and out of a car, how much rough terrain you actually walk on. Our reviews focus on helping you buy the right pushchair for your lifestyle — not simply the most expensive or the most talked about.

The following models are part of the current Cybex lineup. We list them here for completeness but haven’t yet published a full review.

  • Cybex Priam — Cybex’s premium full-size flagship, with leather detailing, XXL canopy and one-pull harness. From birth to 22kg.
  • Cybex e-Priam — Electric-assist version of the Priam. Motor provides push and brake assist for hills and rough ground. Remarkable engineering; not for everyone.
  • Cybex Balios S Lux — Full-featured everyday pushchair between the compact models and the Priam. 2026 model features redesigned rear frame and rebuilt suspension.
  • Cybex Mios — Lightweight city-focused pushchair. Compact, agile, designed for urban environments. Suitable from birth.
  • Cybex Coya — Compact and cabin-compatible travel stroller. Travel system ready.
